The idea for Shadow Designer evolved when I realized just how much time photographers spend struggling on the computer. As a wedding shooter and senior photographer, I understand the breadth of post processing. It occurred to me the benefits of being able to send your images out to a digital designer to be processed, retouched and put into an album layout. It would be like having another much needed employee in the office without the hassle of hiring them, the pain of training them and the need to keep them busy.


Consistency and reliability are, of course, very important in the equation. This is why Shadow Designer formulates a personalized work flow for each customer. If you have a specific look or style you want emulated, we work to replicate that, or we will work with you to come up with something really unique to offer for the next season. The goal has been to maintain a healthy “team-like” relationship between the designer and photographer. We are going to start offering a client conferral option for album design services. This could be exciting to those photographers who want clients to feel the benefits of having personal designers to speak with and make changes. Also, we work to maintain efficient turn-around times for you. We understand that in this day of digital, your customers expect instantaneous gratification. We can help you look good!
